About the AFROTC Detachment 105 and 105A (OL)

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is proud to host Air Force ROTC Detachment 105A, an Operating Location (OL) of AFROTC Detachment 105 at the University of Colorado Boulder. Established in Fall 2026, Detachment 105A brings AFROTC education, training, and leadership development directly to the UCCS campus, expanding opportunities for students to pursue commissions as officers in the United States Air Force and United States Space Force.

Through Detachment 105A, UCCS cadets benefit from the proven leadership development, academic preparation, physical training, and professional growth opportunities of Detachment 105 while completing much of their AFROTC experience in Colorado Springs. The Operating Location strengthens UCCS’s commitment to service, leadership, and developing future officers prepared to lead in the Air and Space Forces.
